Oxidized Bitumen Protection Membrane

Description

ABAK Protect Board III is a specially formulated, pre-fabricated protection membrane designed to deliver exceptional pliability, tensile strength, puncture resistance, and resistance to soil elements.

With its unique multi-layered design, this membrane features a 50/60 gm/m2 nonwoven glass fibre mat core coated on both sides with plasticized bitumen. The heavy-duty glass fibre mat core provides the membrane with high tensile strength, elongation capabilities, and superior lap joint strength.

When installed correctly, ABAK Protect Board III creates an impermeable and resilient protective barrier that shields waterproofing systems from physical damage. It maintains the flexibility to accommodate normal substrate movement.

Advantages

  • Complete protection for waterproofing systems
  • Highly resistant to impact and puncture
  • Impervious to water penetration
  • Exceptional bond strength and seam integrity
  • Bio non-degradable
  • Excellent resistance to soil elements
  • Flexibility during installation, especially around protrusions
  • Flexibility even at low temperatures
  • Stability under high-temperature conditions
  • Streamlined installation with a single-layer application, reducing labour and errors
  • Reinforces existing waterproofing installations
  • Cost-effective installation

Application
